We stayed at the New Hotel Opera for two nights. The hotel was recently renovated, and our room was spacious, perfect for three people. The location is great for tourists, with plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby.

The pros: location is handy for exploring and in a nice area. The breakfast was fine and reception/breakfast room modern. The cons: it looks like the room hasn't been decorated in a long time. Dark lighting, curtains didn't shut properly, wallpaper peeling off and quite concerning cracks and bulges in the ceiling. I asked for an additional pillow for health reasons (only one given per person) and was told I had to wait until the next day. When one was provided, the cleaning staff then removed it the next day and I had to request again. We were on the second floor but the noise insulation wasn't great and noise from the road kept us up quite a lot,so maybe bring earplugs!

El hotel está bien localizado, con varias paradas de metro cercanas, en un barrio seguro y con supermercados y bares. Es cierto que las instalaciones están anticuadas pero nos comentaron que iban a renovarlo. Muy contentas con el personal, ya que tuvimos un problema con la reserva por parte de Trip y en todo momento se preocuparon por ayudarnos a solucionarlo.
